Defibrillators are being installed in more bus terminals than in the past. Here is one located in a subway station in Daejeon just within the entrance to the paid area and next to the station office. While this image is from a subway station, the defibrillator itself should be either the same or very similar. If you want a closer look, click the image to see a larger size.
This is a larger unit and is free standing. Sometimes the defibrillator is in a smaller box, in which you’ll see something smaller like the top of the unit. Don’t forget to call emergency services at 119 and they will get an interpreter on the line.
Instructions will differ brand to brand, but here is a sample of bilingual directions that we found in the headquarters of the Institute for Basic Science. If you want to see the image and words more clearly, click the picture to see a larger version of the image.
Here is another set of instructions, but only monolingual in this instance. If you want to see the image and words more clearly, click the picture to see a larger version of the image.
