Recent advances in genome editing have enabled precise genome editing without inducing DNA double-strand breaks,
opening new opportunities for CRISPR-based gene therapy and disease modeling.
However, in therapeutic contexts, particularly in human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs), precise genome editing faces significant challenges due to the unique characteristics of the cells.
This seminar presents the journey to elucidate the relationship between cellular characteristics and genome editing technologies, and to develop strategies
that overcome these barriers, including harnessing generative AI technologies.
