** TITLE : “GW observations and black hole astrophysics"

** Abstracts: 

Since the discovery of GW150914, the original binary black hole system, GW observations has proved to be a new tool for searching neutron stars and black holes at cosmological distances.

In this talk, I will present highlights from the previous Observing runs (O1, O2, and O3) and some publically available information from the on-going O4 (the fourth observing run).

Mainly focusing on the binary black hole populations, I will discuss what we have learned and what big questions to be answered by GW observations and/or multi-messenger astronomy.

If time allows, I will also discuss the multi-band GW observations and their implications on not only the compact binary populations but also cosmology.
