Director of Center for Multidimensional Carbon Materials
Dr. Ruoff is a pioneer of carbon-based and other materials, and Director of Center for Multidimensional Carbon Materials (CMCM, a UNIST IBS Center).
He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Illinois-Urbana in 1988, and was a Fulbright Fellow in 1988-89 with the Max Planck Institute fuer Stroemungsforschung in Goettingen, Germany.
Prior to joining the IBS Center located at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), he was a Cockrell Family Endowed Chair at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Ruoff is a Fellow of the Materials Research Society, the American Physical Society, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
