Korea VirusResearch Institute

The Ministry of Science and ICT has designated the Korea Virus Research Institute, Institute for Basic Science as a National Strategic Technology Specialized Research Institute in the Advanced Bio sector, with a focus on infectious disease vaccines and therapeutics, pursuant to the Act on the Promotion of National Strategic Technologies. The designation is valid for a period of five years, from November 11, 2025, to November 10, 2030.
