Researchers at the IBS Center for Multidimensional Carbon Materials have invented a novel liquid gallium based composite material with amazing properties.
The following video demonstrates the formation of a putty-like composite between gallium and graphite. Loading more graphite into the mixture increases the viscosity of the composite. The qualitative difference between liquid and paste-like forms of the metal is also shown towards the end of this video.
